Cliffhouse

An Off Grid Residence on its own lake. A hybrid structure of exposed board formed concrete shear walls and steel frames. Thermal Mass moonlights as lateral restraint against the forces of nature on an exposed cliff edge. A modern day station perched on the shores of a pristine Muskoka lake surrounded by tall hills. Passive features were integral to the architecture for the Architect on this project.
